About The Attorney
Selena knew early on in her life that she wanted to work in the legal field for the sole purpose of helping those who feel like they are not being heard. She knew this was her life’s purpose even in high school. She finished her law degree in 2006 and has been working in the legal field ever since then in many various capacities. Because of her experience from many different angles and chairs of the legal field, she is able to examine her client’s needs from many different sides and offer options to the client so that the client can be in the driver’s seat of his or her own case.
Selena was born and raised in Bosnia and Hercegovina. She resettled in the USA in 1995 and has developed deep rooted passion for human rights and making sure every single human being is treated with dignity and respect. She transfers this passion into her family law work because she believes that clients who walk through her door are going through something most delicate, emotional, personal, difficult and challenging that they probably have ever had to go through in their lives. Selena knows that when the client sits down in her office, his or her life will be changing forever going forward. And they need someone with compassion, with understanding, someone who will fight for them and with them, and someone who wants to protect them not just because it’s Selena’s job but because Selena knows it’s the right thing to do.
When she is not advocating for her clients and for human rights around the country, Selena is spending time with her adventurous family either hiking with the husband when the two little ones give them a day off, or simply camping with entire family in hopes of building her album of memories to the fullest.
