  1. What documents are included? A bunch.  You can see the whole list with definitions at What Are My Estate Planning Documents?

  1. Who should get an estate plan?: You should have an estate plan if any of these things apply to you:

  • You may be incapacitated some day
  • You may need someone to make financial or medical decisions for you some day
  • You want your family to know your choices at the end of life
  • You have child/children
  • You own property
  • You want to say how your estate is handled
  • You want to avoid long probate
  • You want to simplify the process for your family after you pass away
  • You want to check this to-do off your checklist after how many years?

  1. But I Just Need a Simple Will, Why Do I Need Attorney Help?: There is no such thing as a simple will. And a simple will does not include disability planning, or coordination with your non-probate assets.  To learn more see my post There is No Such Thing As A Simple Will

  1. Isn’t a will done through LegalZoom enough? Attorneys love LegalZoom (or similar sites) wills because they ensure that the family has to spend thousands more to have the lawyer fix the situation after the person has passed away.  Read more about why you want a quality estate plan at Attorneys LOVE Online Wills

  1. What are the steps and timeline to get an estate plan? You can learn about the steps to the process at our post Estate Planning Timeline.  How long it takes largely depends on how quickly you get in your paperwork.  Normally, you can expect a 4-6 week turn around unless there is an urgency.  During the Covid crisis, we are trying to turn around estate plans for medical personnel within a week, but we can’t guarantee.

  1. Can I do this all remotely without coming in? Yes, we will have all meetings through Zoom and we will finish notarization through remote notarization and the mail during the Covid crisis.

  1. Can I pay by credit card? Yes, we accept cards online as well as checks and cash.  Payment is required before we start work on your case.

  1. What is the cost? We are varying cost based on circumstances.  Please contact us to get a price tailored to your situation.  During Covid, we have specials for front line heroes between $300 and $750.

  1. Why should I work with you? From the minute people talk to us on the phone or walk through the door they can tell that we are different. We are not your average law firm.  We take a personal interest in each client.  We sincerely want to do what is best for them and help them reach their goals.  We want to serve our community and make it a better place by sharing our talents.  Give us a call and see why at the end of a meeting most people say “I feel so much better now, thank you.”
