About The Attorney
Brittany M. Cooper
Brittany joined the Rutherford Law Center, LLC, in 2020. We knew she would be a perfect fit because of her dedication to her clients, and her commitment to integrity and service.
Even when Brittany was early on in her life, she knew that she wanted to go into a career where she could help people and be a support for those who feel like they don’t have anyone. This is what lead her to want to work in the legal field. While in college, Brittany decide to go to law school for the sole purpose to become a family law attorney. While in law school, Brittany interned for a well-known family law judge her first summer of law school and then clerked for a prominent family law firm in Pittsburgh throughout the remainder of her law school career. Brittany was also a student lawyer for Pittsburgh’s family law clinic where she assisted over 50 pro bono clients with their cases. Brittany also enjoyed taking on leadership roles in the law school and was elected secretary of the Student Bar Association and was an active member of the Pitt Law Women’s Association. Brittany was very focused on her academics and received a nationally recognized award for her upper level writing course.
After making the choice to move to Colorado upon graduation, Brittany knew she wanted to continue working with families to assist and guide them through one of the toughest times in their lives. She understands that taking that first step to admit to yourself that you need a change in your life and that you need to make that tough call to a lawyer is one of the hardest decisions you will ever make. That is where Brittany comes in to try to make that process as painless as possible and to help you come to a solution that will work for you, your spouse and your children moving forward. Brittany will advocate for you through and through and prides herself on taking on new challenges and learning something new every day. Brittany’s goals are to help all her clients understand their options, make informed decisions and help them leave here better than when they started.
When Brittany is not advocating for her clients, she enjoys running, cycling, hiking, spending time with her family and friends and playing with any dog that she comes into contact with.
